A home inspection is a hands-on process.
All of the items typically used within the home are tested and/or operated to verify proper operation or installation. Doors and windows are opened and closed; roofing materials are inspected; air conditioning and heating systems are operated; the foundation is examined.
The inspector will fill the sinks and tubs, run the showers and flush all the toilets.
As the inspector does all these procedures, he will make a note of the condition and operation of the components tested.
Upon completion of the inspection visit, a report will be sent to you within 24 to 48 hours.
